Ajayi Osahon is an award-winning cinematographer, His enthusiasm for visual storytelling ignited early in his life when he began experimenting with painting, drawing, and creating colored paper to mimic the colors of television on his black-and-white TV.
His early fascination with visuals set the stage for his career in filmmaking. From childhood, I was drawn to cinema, intrigued by its power to transport viewers to new worlds, stir emotions, and inspire transformation. At that moment, I realized I wanted to engage in this enchanting process and harness my creativity to create a positive influence.

Ajayi studied film and television in Nigeria, South Africa, and the United States. Throughout this journey, I have refined my skills and cultivated a distinctive approach combining technical proficiency with a strong attention to detail.
Ajayi has shot over 30 feature films, 10 short films, 15 Commercials, Documentaries, and 150 drama series episodes. When discussing the movies I’ve worked on, I can readily name several, such as Retaliation, Disclosed, Silver Spoon, Single Only in Abuja, Beyond Your Sight, GPS, Do Good, Disaster Date, Heaven Sent, What Happens Now, and many others.
In addition to being a cinematographer, I am also an award-winning director and editor. This allows me to have a holistic approach to filmmaking, from conceptualization to post-production. I am involved in every aspect of the process, ensuring that the final product aligns with the original vision and exceeds expectations.
